Get started with sharing

You can choose who can see what you share by sharing posts to Collections, Communities, or people.

Your followers

When someone follows you, they can see posts you've shared with them in their stream. You don't have to follow them back.
You can choose who can see your posts. If someone is following you, but you share a post that they don’t have permission to see, they won't see that post.
If someone follows you, but you don't want them to see anything you post, you can block them.

Comments

You can have conversations with people on Google+ by commenting on posts. People can turn off commenting on their posts, so you might not be able to comment on everything you see.
People who can see your posts can also comment on them, unless you turn off commenting for that post.
Anyone who can see a post that you commented on may be able to see, +1, and reply to your comment, even if you aren’t following each other.

Your Shared Endorsements settings affect how your name and picture might be used when you +1 ads.
You can go back and see posts and comments you've +1ed by checking your Activity Log. You can also remove your +1 using the Activity Log.
People who see posts and comments you make can +1 them. Their followers might see that they +1ed your post or comment, and you might get a notification that someone +1ed your post or comment.
